The BOD are the elected Board of Directors of InCham who are the governing body and are responsible for the management, oversight and vision of all aspects of the organization. The BOD is composed of minimum 5 members to maximum 13 members. The Board Directors are elected each 2 years tenure term, during the Annual General Meeting by InCham members with voting rights. Following election, the elect officers have to choose within a week, President, Vice President, (General Secretary, and Treasurer) from among sitting Board Members. In-case of any sudden change in minimum required board members or for necessary responsibilities to be carried further, the President in consultation with the existing BOD Members can nominate new members after the approval of majority of the Board Directors.
The Board of Directors is responsible for guiding and directing the activities of the Chamber and to oversee its Operational and Financial transactions. It is also in charge of the implementation and promotion of the policies of the Chamber and ultimately the approval of new members.
InCham Cambodia committees are at the core of what we do as an organization and community. Our committees create and drive InCham’s events, programs and policy positions.
The Founding Members initiated the very core idea to establish the Indian Business Group and had multiple discussions with the Ambassador and First Secretary of Embassy of India, International Business Chamber, Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, other International Chambers based in Cambodia and with the Ministry of Commerce to establish the Indian Chamber of Chamber, which will brand India and build strong economic and business relations between India & Cambodia and vice-versa.
The Founding Members contributed their time, contacts, efforts, money and other resources in support of the establishment of InCham Cambodia. Their Vision was to Promote Indian Investments in Cambodia in a focused, comprehensive, and structured manner while acting as a first reference point to provide quality input and support services to the prospective foreign investors. To recognize special contributions, donors or special long-term service to InCham, the Founders and outstanding members are given an opportunity to be “Advisors” Board positions, which are granted for fixed term or life. This honor forever places these individuals in the InCham spirit and bestows on them the privileged of attending BOD meetings as non-voting members.
